Sketch Jam

Hey there,

Getting a lot of questions around "when will there be a Jam?!"

Unfortunately, we have been unable to safely hold a Jam since 2020... And that is the kicker. I can't hold a Jam until it's safe for everyone to participate.

Missing from our collective community and culture for over two years now, it's been hard not to see you all at this very special (to me) time of the year (My Christmas) I truly miss you all.

But we all know that it's just not possible to Jam at this time. It's not over.
We might be done with it, but Covid-19 in all it's versions is not done with us.

So, we'll hold out hope for Sketch Jam, later on in Fall 2022/ Winter 2023, maybe?.. Stay`tooned!

In the meantime, we will continue to protect our loved ones and our community by continuing to follow public health guidance and remain socially distant, while Omicron continues to do it's thing. I wish everyone good health, happiness and safety in these surreal times we're all navigating.

I appreciate the fact that yes, we're all in the same storm, but we are also all in very different boats. Stay strong and stay safe, folks!

A SAD LOSS

To make things even harder, our After-Jam pub - The Wallace, has sadly become yet another casualty of this merciless pandemic. You can read about it here. :(

So, not one to sit around and mope, I have been on the hunt for a new location that will suit us, when the time comes. I have found a few new spots that may fit the bill.

I will update here and on the Sketch Jam FB page, when I have secured a spot, formally. If you're not a member - feel free to join us!

There are still rumblings of it reopening at some point, so I will cross my fingers for that, but one thing I can say with confidence is this...

WE WILL JAM AGAIN!
But only when it is safe for everyone, to do so in person.

Promise.
Jim
