Stuff I draw

Just some random character harvesting, subway sketching and some figurative sketches.
No masterpieces here, just oodles of doodles from life and my imagination.
Work keeps me pretty busy, but I'll update with new stuff whenever I can.

GONERS Inc.

I decided I'd like to take a swing at designing some of my own CHRs from my Seneca Illustration: Visual Development course. Goners is one of the original job choices my students have to choose from. This story/Job is an adult 2D cartoon intended for 18+. Think of a Love, death & robots kinda vibe.

This storyline follows a rag-tag group of Zombie wranglers lead by a has-been child star/talent agent named Billy Bilko.

It’s after the apocalypse, and things have begun to return to a semi-normal state. The world is a very different place now. Globally, millions of people fell victim to the virus and those who were infected and rose again, have since been eliminated. Mostly.

Some still wander in a fugue state. Families and friends are left to deal with the rotting shell that was once their loved ones. It’s hard and most people just cannot put these “life challenged” goners out of their misery.

In a case like this, who do you call?

Enter the humane removal and relocation specialists at ZOM-BE-GONE.

Their slogan: Providing humane removal and relocation of the life-challenged since shit got real. They’ll get the job done or die tryin’.

One of my very talented students posted theirs on Instagram and I thought it was so much fun that I jumped on that bandwagon and created my very own action figure. Had a lot of fun doing it. I think every artist should do this exercise - makes ya think!!

This was a rough concept I put together during an assignment this past term. I wanted to work on the same assignment as my students were working on. This is as far as I got before becoming buried in work, but the process itself was fun to start off, with them. Wanna do this more. :)

Some quick observations from my daily commute.
