The Pitch. When you hire me, you get me. I do not “farm out” your job. So relax, no need to search around endlessly for stock illustration or clip art that's created to convey any number of messages that may or may not do what ya need it to do. If you see something on the site that you like, let's talk.
Here’s how I work: Step 1 - Upon initial contact, all pertinent aspects of the project are discussed - subject matter, end usage, style approach, colour, as well as any copy requirements, timeframes, budget and copyrights are determined prior to delivery of estimate. Step 2 - Once I have all the information, the client receives their estimate by email. Once the estimate is accepted the creative process begins. Step 3 - After hours of dedicated creative effort, the client is presented with a WIP (work-in-progress) version of their illustration(s). Now I wait for client feedback or direction. Step 4 - Once the Client has reviewed the WIP(s), revisions are discussed, and I get back to work. (if required) Step 5 - The revised work is now sent back to client for final approval. Step 6 - Final artwork is completed. Digital files are delivered! Please note the following: • A 1/3 retainer fee applies to all jobs upon acceptance of estimate. • Any changes requested after final approval, are not included in the estimate and may be billed as additional. • Copyright remains that of "The Cartoon Guy / Jim Graves" unless otherwise formally transferred. |
